Battery Disposal Act

In accordance with the German Battery Act (BattG) and EU Battery Regulation, we are required to provide the following notice.

Legal Notice

Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. As a consumer you are legally required to return used batteries to authorised collection points. You may return batteries free of charge to our address (Wolbecker Straße 27, 48231 Warendorf) or to any retailer that sells batteries of the same type.

Battery Symbols

Batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Below the bin, a chemical symbol may appear: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead.

Return & Recycling

You can return used batteries at no cost to retailers, municipal collection points, or our warehouse. Correct disposal protects the environment and human health.
